"I finally have my wedding pictures/videos! ...What now?"

What to do with your wedding photos + videos afterward.

It feels like you’ve been waiting for ages, then suddenly, you get the email.

“Hey there! I’ve finished editing your pictures and video, feel free to look through them using this digital gallery.”

They’re finally HERE! After days, weeks, maybe even months of waiting, the pictures are finally in your possession and you can hardly contain your excitement. You know you want to post them on social media and… wait. What else do you want to do with your wedding memorabilia? Better yet, what can you do with it?

I’m here to tell you that there's much more you can do with your wedding pictures and video than what meets the eye.

Here are five ideas of what you can do with your pictures after you receive them:

Use a wedding album.

Wedding albums are beyond classic, and they’re the perfect way to create a strong keepsake of your special day. You could place the album in a place in your home in which guests can look at it, or you could keep it to yourselves.

Put some in thank-you cards.

You could definitely print some of your wedding pictures and use them in thank-you cards for those who attended your wedding. Your friends and family would love receiving those pictures of you both.

Consider printing a couple canvases.

Canvases are a wonderful house decoration in general, but when the canvas is an image from your wedding day, the canvas becomes more than a simple house decoration. These canvases can completely transform your home and make it feel more cozy.

Scrapbooking could be fun.

Some people scrapbook wedding pictures from their big day in order to have some fun with their pictures. You can purchase a scrapbook from stores like JoAnn’s, Hobby Lobby or Michael’s, and get to work. Adding stickers, notes and others gems to pictures in the scrapbook can be super fun.

Copy it onto a USB or CD so you can rewatch your video and photo slideshow.

I can’t express enough how important this is. If you want to keep your photos and video digitally safe forever, having a USB with them on it is key. You can make copies of this and pass it down to your own children when the time comes.

You can do plenty of other things with your wedding photos and videos if you’d like! These are just a few popular ideas I gathered to share with you in hopes of helping you get an idea of what you’d ideally do.
